“rhön-energy – regenerative energies- and environmental-fair”

“rhön-energy – regenerative energies and environmental-fair” is the name of a fair concerning the fields of environment and alternative energy production which will be presented by the company pro-log GmbH in cooperation with the city of Bad Kissingen from May the 17th – 20th in Bad Kissingen for the first time ever.

On an open-air exhibition ground of 110.000 square metres exhibitors from all over Europe will show products and services regarding regenerative-energies.

In contrast to all other fairs of this type “rhön-energy” will present a nationwide unique concept for the fields of environment and energy. For the first time visitors will be shown methods of producing regenerative energies in “action”. For example not only will renowned experts inform about productions and working methods of solar panels, bio gas systems or other alternative energy production devices, but visitors will also be able to gaze in wonder at the starting up of these systems on the spot.

Nowadays regenerative energies are gained from the energy sources of solar energy, water power, bio energy, wind energy and geothermal energy. At “rhön-energy” exhibitors and products from all these fields will be present to give visitors an overall view of methods of producing regenerative energies.

By the slogan “German owns infinite energy” the national association of regenerative energies started a comprehensive information campaign during the last few years. This campaign is supported for example by the ministry of environment.

The idea that lies behind this campaign is to make the public aware of a form of an energy supply that spares the climate and our resources, too. According to experts, by the year 2020 this energy supply will have produced more electricity than is currently produced by nuclear energy. In addition to that more than 500.000 new jobs shall be created by this industry branch up to this time.

As the energy requirement is worldwide constantly rising and people worry about the effects of the change in climate we not only have to think differently about energy supply but will make regenerative energies the leading energies of tomorrow.

The target group of “rhön-energy” are therefore not only industry and commerce, but also research institutes and customers.
